Directions by train<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want to travel to us by public transport, that’s also possible.<\/p>\n

If you want to travel by long-distance train from further afield, make your way to the following train stations:<\/p>\n

Bielefeld \/ Herford \/ B\u00fcnde (–>RE9) or Osnabr\u00fcck \/ Bremen (–>RB71).<\/p>\n

The RE9 runs between Osnabr\u00fcck \/ Bremen and Bremerhaven with stop in Lemf\u00f6rde.<\/p>\n

The RB71 runs between Bielefeld and Rahden with stops in Herford and B\u00fcnde (Westf.).<\/p>\n

By train<\/strong>, take either the Rahden<\/strong> or Lemf\u00f6rde<\/strong> train station, there you must look for the near bus stops of the same name.<\/p>\n

Directions by bus<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bus<\/strong> line 623 (Stemwede)<\/strong> runs between the bus stops. You can view the timetable at this LINK<\/a>. Please note: Bus service is not very frequent! Please check your options on the day in question and book the taxi bus at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure by calling the following number: +49 5231 \u2013 977 681. The ride will take about 20 to 30 min<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From the corresponding bus stops at the train stations, head to the following stops:<\/p>\n

Stop “Am Winkel” (red W<\/em>) in the street “Am Winkel”\u00a0<\/strong>(<\/em>n<\/em>ear the School “Freie Evangelische Grundschule Stemwede”)<\/em><\/p>\n

OR<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Stop “Am Ostenberg” (red O<\/em>) in the street “Stemwederbergstr.” <\/strong>(<\/em>Near the Company “Stemwederbergkelterei Friedrich Bosse”)<\/em><\/p>\n

On Foot (approx 20min)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then continue on foot either along Oppendorfer Stra\u00dfe<\/strong> (busier) or along Am Birkenhain<\/strong>\u00a0(less busy).<\/p>\n

When you take the Oppendorfer Stra\u00dfe you have to go left to M\u00fchlheide, when you take Am Birkenhain you have to go right to reach M\u00fchlheide. When you reach the intersection of the three streets you are on the right property.<\/p>\n

The mowed grass strip is the parking lot of the museum. If you walk along it and take the second courtyard entrance on the left, you’ll have arrived at the ground of the museum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
