He was accompanied by Jos Beurskens, former employee at ECN.<\/p>\n<p>Both work in the field of wind energy since the 1970s and decisively influenced the Dutch and international wind industry. While Beurskens focused on research and certification, Lagerwey developed the famous, mostly two-bladed wind turbine named after him. With biting cold but a shining sun a tour through museum, exhibits and depot was made. Two Lagerwey machines close to the museum were visited eventually.<\/p>\n<p>This truly special meeting was commonly considered as very pleasant, informative and helpful.
