Visit to the Old Table Minden
On May 5, 2025, the Old Table Minden visited the German Wind Power Museum around 11 a.m. in cool but dry spring weather. Temperatures around 11°C and a light breeze of around 20 km/h provided ideal conditions for a visit to the spacious outdoor area.
The visitors showed great interest in the development of wind energy and thoroughly learned about the exhibited systems and components. They were particularly impressed by the historic wind turbines and the explanations of technical developments over the past decades. Numerous expert questions arose, for example, about rotor blade geometry or material issues.
The Old Table Minden expressly acknowledged the work of the museum association, which, with considerable volunteer commitment, preserves the history of technology and makes it accessible to the public. The members were impressed by the diversity of the exhibits and the authentic open-air presentation. Overall, the visit was characterized by lively exchange, professional curiosity, and great appreciation for the work of the association – a thoroughly successful event.
